Bonfire were appointed by the estate of the late Bob Carlos Clarke to develop an identity for a new gallery in Chelsea, London. The partners included Bob’s agent Ghislain Pascal, his wife Lindsey Carlos Clarke and Tamara Beckwith.
The Little Black Gallery was partly in homage to the internationally acclaimed photographer, but also to act as a legacy aimed specifically at aspiring professional photographers and photographic artists to help showcase, promote and sell their work.
The identity and mood had to be clean, subtle and capture the spirit and ambience of Bob’s work without restricting the interpretation of the gallery as a space for all professional photographers.
Following the successful opening and launch of the gallery Bonfire have designed and delivered all the promotional collateral for the various exhibitions, in the form of limited high-quality printed invitations and HTML email campaigns.
Bonfire were also commissioned to design and produce a restrospective of Bob Carlos Clarke’s work entitled Wall-To-Wall.
Bonfire were selected as they very quickly got to grips with the gallery concept and delivered what I feel was the perfect outcome. The standard of their creative work, attention to detail and print management of the reproduction of the images is exceptional.
We are all very pleased with the outcome and I look forward to working with them on more wonderfully executed projects.
