Inertia needed help. Their award-winning Sticmatz product had a low retail take-up and low consumer awareness. With a second Sticmatz product in development they needed investment, and for this to happen the Sticmatz brand had to be strengthened.

Inertia needed to move quickly and while they set about getting as much coverage as possible on Channel 4’s ‘Tricky Business’ and SkyOne’s The Big Idea, we set about redeveloping the branding and packaging for the original Sticmatz product.

Bonfire went back to basics to simplify what was an overcrowded and confusing piece of packaging. We took and embellished the core visual elements to maximise brand impact, creating a stronger, more appealing brand, and one that could help clear a path for the launch of the second Sticmatz product.

We also introduced a pink packaging solution for the pink mat, developed solely for the current trend in female-focused retail products.

The relaunch with our new packaging saw a large trial order from the Dixon’s Group retailer, PC World, which was followed almost immediately by two more consecutive orders.

Sticmatz are currently seeing unparalleled success, and Bonfire are working on the launch of the second product in the range.
