After 2 months of development the Delmar Reynolds site has gone live.
Everything on this site is updateable, including the navigation. We have built a generic international site that can be duplicated from the CMS, enabling region specific sites to be added once the content has been translated. We have gone live with 4 sites and there is currently another 25 in development. The best way to currently see how the translation works is in the German site.
This test site has been up for the last 2 weeks while we were monitoring the browsers and systems used by visitors to the old site. 75% of traffic came via IE6 on a PC followed by 15% via IE 5.5 on a PC (in total 96% of traffic came from versions of IE). The site was therefore optimised for IE5.5 or above on the PC (with 85% of visitors were running Windows 2000 or above).
