As part of a brand development and restructuring, Cranfield University has commissioned Bonfire to produce a series of literature for its newly formed school of health, Cranfield Health.

The project consists of a corporate brochure and a set of 6 course brochures; and follows an earlier programme of commissioned developmental consultancy work during summer 2005.

Strutting down Portobello?

Sunday, April 16th, 2006

Bonfire has been commissioned to design the new website for the Portobello Film Festival based in London.

The Portobello Film Festival is supported by Arts Council England and Film London’s Artists Moving Image Network and this year has expanded into presenting cutting edge fine art (painting, sculpture, photography, installation and moving image) to compliment the film programme.

The Film Festival was created in 1996 as a reaction to the moribund state of the British film industry, to provide a forum for new film-makers and give exposure to movies on different formats. Many of our previously out-on-a-limb directors have since been recognised by the big fish in the industry. The festival has been dubbed ‘the wild side of Brit Film’ (Metro), ‘this pioneering film festival’ (Evening Standard), ‘the biggest celebration of independent film in Europe’ (The Independent) and ‘London’s biggest filmic free-for-all’ (Time Out). That the Portobello Film Festival shows tomorrow’s films today is evident in the number of ideas presented there first that regularly crop up in the mainstream.

The site is due to go live during the summer of this year.
