Bonfire co-founder joins board of SEMLEP

Stephen Judge, co-founder of Bonfire, has been appointed a board director for the South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership (SEMLEP).  Stephen is one of six private sector directors to be selected for the role, alongside nine public sector representatives.

The South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership brings together businesses, universities and colleges, community groups, social enterprises and local government in Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire and Luton, Milton Keynes, Cherwell and Aylesbury Vale. Together these partners are working closely with Government to support inward investment, innovation, economic growth, new enterprise and job creation.

Dr. Ann Limb, SEMLEP Chair, said: “These private sector appointments represent a wide range of experience, business size, sector and geographic distribution across the SEMLEP area and will complement a board already distinguished by the calibre and commitment of its public sector directors.”

“All the directors and I will work with businesses, communities and citizens throughout the region to establish SEMLEP as one of the most industrious, inclusive, innovative local enterprise partnerships in the country.”
