On the ball?

Wednesday, June 29th, 2005

Following on from our ‘on target, on budget, on brand’ press release, and being the topical opportunists that we are, we devised a tennis ball mail piece to coincide with Wimbledon.

The mailer followed on from the press release article adding ‘on the ball’ to the proposition along with our web address. As a result our web traffic is going great guns! Keep coming back though, as the website is being updated and evolved in the coming months.

We still have a few of the mailings left, so if you want one drop us an email.

Have you got a big one?

Thursday, June 9th, 2005

We have!

And this is where it starts, our new ‘the big idea’ campaign kicks off today. A 5 stage mailing consisting of an A2 poster followed by 4 postcards, to be mailed out over a period of 8 weeks.

To make sure you are on the mailing list fill in your details in the request further information form in the contact us section.

Also keep you eyes peeled as we start to develop our interactive section over the coming months. Aswell as lots of extras there will be an entire archive of all our promotional material produced since our inception will be available to view online. Should provide some inspiration as well as a few laughs!

Reaching for the sky?

Monday, February 28th, 2005

Well it’s that time again when Steve goes off to break some legs but somehow always comes back intact. This year (the 6th time) he thought he’d actually be safe and buy a helmet to wear, which turned out quite useful – as he lost his balance and fell off the top of a halfpipe and landed on his head. Nothing broken but a sore neck for a few days apparently.

The resort was Les 2 Alpes in france and it snowed every day during his visit but it was just a tad cold. -10 in the resort, -23 at the top, with a wind chill of around -30! The snow was good but with every black run moguled extensively this resort is quite geared up for the skiers out there. Also many of the red and blue runs had long flat areas which also arent a favourtie for the boarders. Having said that the snow park, boarder cross and halfpipe were excellent fun although high up and very cold if it happened to be a windy day!!

The back flip picture shown does hold a secret though which he didn’t want anyone to know, but here goes anyway – there was a big inflatable the other side of the ramp for practicing….. oops sorry Steve…

New year, new alliance?

Tuesday, January 4th, 2005

Well happy New year and we hope you all had a good Christmas break, but now for us its the ‘return of the mac’ as usual! (sorry Mr. Morrison but pun intended). There are going to be many developments over the year at Bonfire, the first of which we can now reveal.

After discussions last year we are pleased to announce a new face at Bonfire Design. One that brings new business, alliances and channels through which Bonfire Design can offer its services. The new face goes by the name of Chris Williamson who brings additional account and project management skills to the company. An alliance that will be extremely beneficial over the coming year as Bonfire grows.

Here’s to 2005!

Happy Birthday Steve

Monday, August 2nd, 2004

At 33 this year it marks his first golf lesson. We might have a budding Tiger Woods on our hands! Especially if his socks are anything to go by (work it out for yourself).

Happy Birthday Jason

Wednesday, July 7th, 2004

Getting on a bit now Jason nears the halfway mark of 35. We’ll have to start planning for his mid-life crisis. Always best to be prepared.

Jump, jump…

Saturday, March 20th, 2004

Every year Steve goes off snowboarding with a group of friends and usually comes back needing a holiday to recover!!

This year he teamed up with a group of slightly more seasoned individuals, whose abilities seem to have rubbed off somewhat, well what can we say… nice grab!!

But did he land it? Only he knows the answer to that one…

Steve adds: This years expedition was to Alpe D’Huez in France. Verdict: Nice slopes, cable cars, very challenging black runs for the daring and an excellent boardercross park for the more competent a rider. Wouldn’t go there this late on in the season again as the aprés-ski was a bit dull and the snow wasn’t at its best. Good resort overall with a multitude of possibilities for escaping those zig-zagging slow ski schools and beginners! (I know we all have to start somewhere but it is nice to get from the top to the bottom without stopping once in a while!!) Good off-piste with lots of jump opportunities to look for.

Be our valentine

Saturday, February 14th, 2004

After the success of our ice scraper mailer this seemed the perfect opportunity for our next ‘fun’ awareness mailing. We bought in some inflatable heart shaped bath pillows and repackaged them carrying a very simple message ‘we’d love to work with you’.

If you haven’t received any of these spontaneous mailings yet don’t worry. Although each of these mailings are of very limited quantity, due to their spontaneity, we’ll be getting around to everyone by the end of the year.

These have been so well received that we are looking to broaden the scope of these mailings so keep your eye on the post!!
