The Little Black Gallery was launched as a permanent reminder of Bob’s work and a place where aspiring photographers could exhibit.
We had to balance creating a fitting legacy for Bob with encouraging aspiring photographers and artists to exhibit their work, whilst also firmly establishing the venue on the premium London gallery scene.
We created a simple and beautiful brand concept that was clean, subtle and captured the spirit and ambience of Bob’s work without restricting the interpretation of the gallery as a space for all professional photographers.
The brand identity we created and launch event quickly, and credibly, established The Little Black Gallery as a serious contender. Further work to promote new exhibitions has been commissioned and the Gallery was nominated as the best emerging art gallery in London, 2011.
